    new addition - grandpa car

Couldn't pass it up, will help keep the MM off the roads on bad weather days for a while. Its a 2000 Lincoln Town Car with 40k miles, its pretty mint. My wife says I look like a grandpa in it. I'm just going to fill the trunk up with conolli's and enjoy it. The car is so smooth it is unbelievable.

I can't remember the last time I drove in a TC. It has a really nice ride, a decent amount of options even compared to cars today. No heated seats or moon roof but I can live with that. Especially for the price and the mileage. Kind of cool to be driving such a mint 18 year old car. It seems larger inside and a much softer ride than the MM. Kind of wish it had a console but neat to have a 6 seater again. Stock sound system sounds way better than the MM.

Bought the Marauder drove it for a year till winter. Got stuck on a hill not having traction control or winter tires. Bought winter tires, a month later bought a town car to drive in the winter. Now on my third town car. I understand why you bought it. It also is nice when you back into the seat of the Marauder you realize how special they are.

    Beautiful car--nice find!

17 years ago, some idiot rich kid neighbor backed into our Mercedes.

I knew the work was going to be expensive, so I made a fair offer to the insurance company to basically settle claim (not total the car) and let me keep the car and fix it. They declined.

When I took the car into the best repair facility in town (not my dime), thier insurance tried to give me a POS little Car, as they owed my a rental. "Absolutely NOT! I want the nices biggest sedan you have!" Their insurance fought it for 15 minutes or so... While they checked with various managers... And I kept saying-- "I only want the same class of car that I own--a big safe luxury sedan... My wife is pregnant (she was 8 months and HUGE) for safety reasons. If anything were to happen..."

They finally relented and brought me a brand new 50 mile Town car. Green over light parchment leather. MY wife laughed at me when I drove up in it. It was 105 degrees that month, and my lovely wife and I drove around all day after work, and all day on the weekends, Because she was (huge) uncomfortable, and the AC in the car was better than the AC in our house. The car was soooo comfortable, quite, and luxurious. She loved it. We had that car 7 weeks, and it was Amazing.

When I finnally got our car back (BTW Mercedes AC SUCKS!) we both decided it was time to sell it as it didn't compare to the TC.

I've always wanted the top of the line two tone interior Town car. Beautiful ride! And you can zip it up a little and it will look like the MM's older brother--LIKE THE BEAUTIFUL BLUE ABOVE.
