    If you submit repair reimbursement do it direct with Ford. I am convinced the Dealer stole my reimbursement.

    I just got my letter, using the term 'by-pass' to describe what the dealer will do. Also, they say parts are now ready. I can hardly wait.

    Got my letter yesterday, too. Will not be doing the recall, I'd rather take care of it myself if/when it happens. I've got too much aftermarket stereo stuff going on under the dash that I don't need some Ford tech messing things up.

    As a Ford tech who has installed one of these kits(and seen other techs botch the job) - I would not let any dealership do it to my car - good thing I was able to get all my cars' LCMs replaced under the previous recall.
    I eat apples until my stomach feels much more full than its normal.
