Washed the ol'lady's car, the MM and the the Vic... In and out, was pretty worn out by the end. The weather was real nice today, probably take out the MM tommorrow for a spin.

I would search e-bay, or your local tool truck.

    Talking 03 MARAUDER

Today: I replaced the rear axle seals and for some reason the driver's side axle has too much end play. The right side is good. Does anyone else have this problem? Installed 8oz of Motorcraft friction modifier and just under 2 quarts of 80/90 wt gear oil. No leaks so far.
I also installed new brake pads and hardware front and rear. Cleaned inside of wheels.
Washed it. Test drove it and everything seemed fine.
My next task is to locate the rattle in the undercarriage and repair/or replace it.

How do you know it has too much end play? Did you measure it? Could be the "C" clips are worn.

Ford revised the spec for the gear oil to 70W140.

Measured approximately 1/8 " of or .099 inches of travel.
I even switched axles and still ended up with the same results.
Never knew of the revision of the G.O.
    Thanks!

What was your cost on that? My local Ford dealer wants like $200+ for just the shoes... FML...
