It was 19 TS’s, and the last one, #20 was built from parts leftover on the shelves, as far as power, I have a 5.0 stroker, 521/526 at the wheels on a conservative street tune.

No clue how Rick’s pulling it off, I’m on dr’s and it blows them off wot from 1-2,2-3. Still pretty quick for a 16 second DTR

I was under the impression that the platewas the same as well as the outlet for the trilogy just a backplate had to have a different hole drill to make it mount to the lysholm case.

you can go whipple, it will mount to the lower plate, just move battery so you can have passenger side intake.

I thought the Whipple would fit 03 04 Cobra Mustang intake without an adapter plate? But yeah after everything I've read I think a whip would probably yield more horsepower numbers on pump gas then trying to do the trilogy twins screw. Wouldn't i have to go with some Eaton swap brackets for the snout length to be correct though? Because I think it's different than the trilogy. There has been some really good information on this thread!

no plate req. i meant lower intake, you can modify the trilogy brackets for eaton/whipple, i cant recall if it is add half inch spacer or cut half inch off. lji372 will know. better make sure engine and trans is ready for big bump in torque.

also read from old post by Hotrauder, original owner of Fruitpunch, that Jerry Barnes kept twin screw 1 and 2 and that the first 3 were warrantied as lysholm shipped without oil with no msg, notice etc. to fill with oil, trilogy eatons came with oil added. i dont know how factual this all is, maybe it will ring a bell with some of you

IIRC Trilogy’s snouts are 3/8” longer than all others. It’s been awhile though.

Either way it’s nothing to shave off or add to.

I guarantee my ride is always slower, just call it a DTR handicap.

I considered a regular Trilogy when I bought my TS, the cost difference was nil between the 2 when buying new.

Originally made like 390 on a stock block with the tune that came with it, dyno time brought that to 472, stroker and cams brought it to 521, it's been fun, most every mod has responded with positive results, ymmv.
