So, what's on tap for 2004?

Got anything special in mind? Hopefully 2003 was a good year and if all goes well 2004 will be better.

For me, I just hope to be competitive in the low 13s and high 12s without breaking anytning. That and to have fun at the races while enjoying the unique social event that is drag racing!

    Cheers and happy new year!

I'd also say go for the Marauder since you really can't go wrong. If you need a truck for some reason, then go for the F150 with the 5.4 litre v8 as it's such a sweet looking, and sounding truck.

    2004

For the new year I hope to meet more of our members in person, attend as many events as my wife and I are able to. At the present time spending money to make the car faster is not possible, I will try to improve my best time but it will have to be done by me doing a better job launching the car; I think low 14's are possible.... lower ET's will have to wait.

    Happy New Year to All.

Go for the Marauder. Not only does it look better, is built on a real frame, but it's engine is built in the US and Canada, not Mexico. And, there isn't a huge list of options to add to the car, inflating the price. The Marauder already is option loaded as is, unless you must have heated seats and a moon roof.

"Hemi" is really just marketing hype anyway. It bears no resemblance to Hemis of days gone by. If you are serious about that new Hemi, do a lot of research. I've read some real horror stories about that engine. Makes the few things you'll read hear about the 4.6 a walk in the park.

I think the Sarge is right, you guys have a Hemi, look at the shape of the valve pockets.

Looks like there's been a serious splintering. I never thought it'd be possible for this to happen to a group of owners of a car model that sold no more than 14000 copies over 2 model years. Kind of scary, when thinking of the scale. Makes one think that maybe it'd be a good idea to do some introspection and think about what each of us needs to do to build a solid community, analyze what it is we're all honestly looking for by belonging to this community.

I know what I have planned for 2004.

It's wipping your butt at the track.

I got the Nittos & I'm ready to take you on Stumpy.

I'll be returning to from Florida on January 6th. If Eagles games don't happen on track days I'll see you there.

    Happy New Year to you.
