Curious, do you guys that already have the big brake upgrade with braided lines have a better pedal feel than before? I've spent a considerable amount of time and effort to get my brake pedal to feel right and so far nothing... its a sponge compared to before the install. I've bled, re bled, computer bled, replaced the master cylinder, on and on... the pedal feels like crap...

I'm in the same boat after installing mine. The shop bled the ABS and said the brakes felt great, when I drove it with him, I was disappointed. He said it felt better than most taxi crown vics he's done, but I am not impressed. I want to modify the brake booster/master cylinder next if possible. \
I just want there to be minimal brake pedal travel as I feel there is way too m uch compared to other modern cars.

This is why rear drum brakes suddenly isn’t such a bad thing.. Just adjust them better and instant high pedal! I never saw a better advantage of having rear disc personally. If shoes are good enough for semi’s and trains..

The brake pads will need to be broken in if not already, until then the pedal will be softer than normal. Pad compound will also make a significant difference, one of my favorite pads for a daily driver in the posi-quiet ceramic which has exceptional stopping ability, and low dust/noise, does so with some compression, resulting in a softer/longer travel feel, compare that to the aggressive semi-metallic's used on police cars, which are noisey and dusty, but have excellent heat resistance and little compression and a high-hard very bite-ing pedal.
I eat apples until my stomach feels much more full than its normal.
Here is my original review of the upgrade from 2015:
https://www.mercurymarauder.net/foru...ght=zack+brake
Although the car is in winter storage right now, I can say that I'm still happy with this upgrade. Car stops on a dime, pedal feel still feels great. The only nitpick I have with it is I have a pretty bad squeal when the brakes are cold. Sounds like a stuck pig. Once they warm up the squeal goes away. This probably has more to do with the parts I've chosen, not the upgrade. The upgrade I feel is worth it. I haven't diagnosed the issue yet, I have other pressing matters to deal with once spring shows up.
