Took it out for some Spring Exercise now that the weather has gotten better. Had a young guy and his girlfriend approach me in a parking lot and ask if it was my car. The guy said he has always loved the car and really, really would love to have one. He was driving a brand new Dodge Charger; but was drooling over a 15 year old car. Spent about 10 minutes giving him the full tour and the Marauder Story. He remarked how clean it was. I like my SHO .... But I love the Marauder. Still turning heads !! This guy was probably only 7-8 years old when I bought it. LOL

Just put on new vanity plates, went and got an inspection sticker, put some fresh gas in it, wiped it down and back in the garage. Also changed mileage in sig.
    Next weekend....oil change.

Marauder was up for rotation yesterday. Shuttled fellow disabled neighbor to three appointments and transmitted a number of documents from my home computer for him.

Marauder running noticeably better using the E0 93 fuel. CD changer played properly - no skipping or mis-sampling as it did previously - just needed to be used. New key fob still hasn't arrived. Considering a vanity plate.

Went by Ace Hardware to get new ignition key 'cleaned up' since it wouldn't work in the trunk and was sticky in the driver's door. Lubed tumblers, no difference. Key now working correctly except for mild sticking in the trunk tumbler. This will be my spare key anyway.

Drove to local Ford dealer to pick up new fob - not on hand as promised. Phoned previously and found it hadn't been ordered even though I paid for it up front. Will phone today before driving over.

Will also have them mount the front license plate bracket for my upcoming vanity plate and repair the frozen mounting nut/stud on the front of the airbox. Enjoying the car more and more each time I drive it - E0 fuel really makes a difference. Constant compliments.

Why not use the keypad on the door?
