Awesome side by side pics! I love the old 60's and 70's cars. But, you just can't beat the comfort, economy and performance of today's cars. The biggest difference is the coolness factor... The old ones are cooler, just not as practical! Otherwise, I would still have my 1970 Torino GT 429 CJ 4spd.
But, we didn't spend what was, back then, two week's wages for a sensor.
In 1962, I'd go to the junkyard and buy a three speed trans for my 57 BelAir for $25, and do the job in front of my house in the street. (Dragstrip racing does take it's toll.)
