Any Diff between CV battery cable and MM cable?

    Hello,

called the positive cable by Ford this is the wire harness from the battery down to the starter -I wanna replace the whole assembly.

    https://www.tascaparts.com/auto-part...t/battery-scat

Tasca lists the CV Civilian part number as 3W7Z-14300-AA

it's 57 bucks, the MM version is 3W7Z-14300-CA

no longer available. What could be the difference? some crimp fitting? or something more important? Or should I get a bunch of different 02/00 gauge wires and attempt to make my own?

edit: here's a thread from 2014 has the info...

    Thanks

I have no direct experience, but from what I’ve heard, it’s basically the same thing, some of the clips that hold to the cam cover will need to be relocated.

    I'd make my own cable.

I ordered a new one from Tasca. Ultimately I will make a new one ---better than the OEM but for now, to get this thing running, OEM will suffice.

I have the same CV / GM cable sitting in the tool box waiting to be installed. Pretty sure that the information is correct regarding the cam cover tie downs.
