    Loose Linkage

I've been told I am loosely liked to homsapiens... Or maybe it was that I AM the missing link... I forget...

My trans linkage seems to be loose. I only have 15,000 miles on car... So not an abuse issue. When I first got the car @ 11,000 miles the OD switch had never been used, and was "tight" in the shifter handle hole. Had to loosen and re-align the grip a little.

Concurrently, the Drive/Reverse notches don't align exactly with the indicator...

And since the "notches" don't exactly align... It doesn't feel like it goes solidly into "gear" drive or reverse.

    TELL ME THE GOOD NEWS!!!

Sweet! I searched the site for hours... Does the dealer have to do it? Or can I?

You can adjust it yourself, unless there is excessive corrosion.
