    motor mount nut

    Does anyone know what type & size nut the motor mount is ?
    2004 marauder black purchased new. Sold 9/16 at 297,000 miles. Still ran strong didn't burn a drop of oil.
    2003 marauder black 28,000 miles all stock. Garage Queen.
    2004 marauder red daily driver.

    i wonder this my self, i tired everything and nothing fit very well. i for get what sizei used to get it off

    I believe it takes a 16mm deep socket.

    How hard is it to change the motor mounts?

    Passenger side a PITA. Why would they need changing?

    Its 18mm and you need a deep well.

    Ummmm because your engine blew up, spewing oil on the hot headers, which ignited and caused a fire, melting the motor mounts.......

    I can understand that, but wouldn't you put new ones on while the engine is out and mounted on the engine stand?

    Yes... I am...

    I have NO idea why burt is replacing his though....(never mind... Swoosh asked about replacing them... not burt)
    Maybe he just wants to jack the motor up for the header install?

    Without headers, the motor mounts are a breeze to swap out in the car.
