DR sold a kit for it with a braided hose and some fittings I think. You have to tap the rear tailshaft housing.

    That's for tail not tailshafts.

Not 100% sure Doom, Landy pointed it out on my car which has the art carr stage 2 kit. I gave him a confused look but knew i hadn't seen it on my 1st MM.

I looked it up and saw that Darrin offers a forced lube mod for the tailshaft housing. I have seen it mentioned in numerous threads but never saw it till Landy showed me mine.

It has a braided hose that runs to the tailshaft housing that connects to a fitting threaded into the side housing and I guess forces more fluid into the tailshaft housing. I'll take a pick when it is light out tomorrow.

I have been running a CVPI MMC POLICE shaft for years now with 4:10's, gobs of hp, AND MANY >140 MPH jaunts.
    No issues.

Your only problem is that Ford stopped making those years ago and all stock was sold or returned to Ford. The drive shaft we have is what was replaced and now used on the police interceptors. I highly doubt you will find a new CVPI MMC POLICE shaft that was rated for those speeds at this junture.

    Look else where.

And just to make you really bummed...I got mine new for $180 to the door when the dealerships were fazing them out.
I knew I should bought several for posterity.

Oh yeah....you few doing 160 with stock shafts...your day is coming lol.
You may not feel it, but that tail shaft is taking a beating.
Do that speed for more than the few seconds you likely did and watch that tranny or diff go to pieces.

The early version forced tailshaft lube used solid tubing rather than braid. I got mine from Dennis.

It is an integral part of the tailshaft housing for the 4R100, cast into the part rather than added on externally.
Thanks to Darrin @ BC Automotive:
$1800 and it was worse than when he started!
