    down to 25 pounds

One of my brand new rear KDWS (passenger) was looking a bit low after I've had them mounted for about 1 month. It was down to 25 pounds. I put both rears back to 40. The other rear was at 35. (stock) Fronts were fine. (no loss)

Is there any chance that was a fluke and it will be "fine" now?

    Suggestions?

Check it in a week or so. I check mine occasionally. Okay, rarely. Before a long trip I will, and by long trip I mean Kentucky or Chicago. So about once a year I check mine. In Louisville, Silversurfer pointed out what looks like a broken knife blade in the middle of my driver side back tire and said "Uh oh, no high speed runs for you." I pondered it of course. Then realized that's why I carry a spare and drove like I usually do. But your post does remind me maybe I should take a closer look at it.

I have run a plug before in fairly new tires. Got a nail in a tire on my ranger and plugged it and the plug last until I needed new tires! I was pretty impressed. Always keep a plug kit at the house handy.
