    Big 3 mod questions

    Greetings Marauderers I like to know which are the benefits of doing the so called “Big 3” to the alternator any help and advices are welcome thak you.

    If you are running the stock alternator and stock equipment the OEM wires are sufficient. I did the big 3 upgrade because of my audio equipment and 250amp alternator.

    Even if your not running a monster audio system any car can benefit from the "big 3 upgrade".

    This upgrade replaces or augments three key cables in the electrical system with 1/0 or 4 gauge wires: the battery ground to chassis wire, the chassis to engine block wire, and the alternator plus to battery plus wire. This increases your electrical system's current flow capability, ensuring a more consistent voltage under varying demand conditions.

    Great info! I think I'll have to do this. I'm seeing under 12v sometimes. Too much bump in the trunk.

    Great info. This doesn't sound or seem too difficult. Are there kits for this?

    Could someone please post up a source for our car on the 3 wire upgrade ?
    2004 marauder black purchased new. Sold 9/16 at 297,000 miles. Still ran strong didn't burn a drop of oil.
    2003 marauder black 28,000 miles all stock. Garage Queen.
