What to do with stock long block???

I have the stock motor out of my car and will tear it apart in the next week or so to see what I did to number 8 piston.

I was thinking either rebuild the long block with good forged internals and either keep as spare or sell to recoupe a little bit of the money I have put out for my build.

But most people have specifics they want in their engines that I couldn't account for. Such as compression, coated pistons or no, ring gaps based on engines use (turbo, supercharged, nitrous, n/a.).

Or I could sell it as is to someone knowing they want to build a long block and just drop their accessories and the intake on a long block and go. Which is what I had planned prior to me hurting the piston.

So what would you guys do?????

You would be better just putting the block up on eBay as is. Someone will definately pick it up. Or hell, toss it in the local Want Ad/Craigslist.

Todd, I may be interested in the as-is option, although I was planning on using a Teksid(sp?) block for the buildup.

I have 8 Rod/Piston Combos out of my first engine. They look brand new.
Holler if you need a replacement.
