As I see it a COT in mint condition should only increase in value as I don’t see why any aftermarket company would reproduce it. Not enough market to sell them to.
Because some people love when someone says it isn’t worth doing

As others have posted...a lot of parts on the Marauder are unique to the car, and like it or not that has a direct effect on pricing. Since the car was not that popular aftermarket replacement parts are not always reproduced.

If you would like to have a pricing discussion about parts please start your own thread and stop whining in mine.
Everything that needed to be said about the subject was said, quite satisfactory to my knowledge. If you want to keep pissing in the wind, then that's your choice - no one who matters, really cares, to be honest. Hoping someone is foolish enough to pay inflated prices? Whatever.

Thinking if the stainless fabricator/vendor choose to do a run from time to time, he would not loose money and have no idle inventory.

I’d guess you’re mistaken there. Last stainless run of tubes took roughly 4 years to sell. But when it’s done more out of love than money it’s an easy pill to swallow the first time. Still apprehensive on the second run, plus I don’t need one this time so that makes it easier to put off doing

On subject, the NOS cot isn’t NOS because it’s powder coated so it’s value would be less than an actual untouched unit.

Oh wow - I never would have guessed. Would 'prepaid orders' work? Thinking stainless COTs would be near 'gold status' at this point in the product cycle.
