Lightbulb If You Were Gonna Pick a Double DIN Unit, Which One Would You Pick?

In the Blue MM that I just sold to Brad (PonyUp), I had a Pioneer 910BT and loved it except for when it crashed and I had to reload the software. It has navigation.

In my F450 I have the Pioneer 3300BT (I think that is the model number). It does not have navigation but it sounds killer.

What other units are out there that y'all like that are comparable to these units? Navigation is a plus but not essential. The use of my phone through the unit is also a plus.

I play music from my DROID Razor, my iPods, and thumb drives. I do not listen to a lot of network radio. I have never used Pandora in a car setting and am not sure how well it works and whether I need an iPhone to use it.

    discuss/Suggest.

Marty look at the Pioneer AVH P3300BT. It will do everything you want. Nav is an option onit. It has front inputs fopr the thumb drive and SD card. It will also handle the I POd.

You need a I Phone to stream it in Marty. Pandora will make your own playlist once you give ot a few titles.

I use Pandora but I was wondering how I get it on the radio.

Now I see what you are saying.

New models come out soon Marty. Maybe they will wise up! Seems like Kenwood might have one that will run the Droid. I do not sell them but it would be worth checking out. You could still get the signal in thru the aux input and control the stuff with the droid. Just not as easy.

I guess I should get the car running first and that will give them time to roll out the new units.

You don't need an Iphone for Pandora. If you have an Android OS phone you can just play it through bluetooth. I have a Droid X and use Pandora through my Sync bluetooth in my Taurus. As 4drcobra said as well you can use an AUX cable as well to run it then allow the use of the bluetooth for phone use via bluetooth headset or through the radio.
