Marty's tune, check. 4:10's, check. What next??

Got the 4:10's done today and she feels a somewhat quicker. Was maybe expecting a little more. Some tire spin but I just bought new tires. Going to take it to the track soon.

What's next?? Headers and exhaust? Whats the best bang for buck??

    Boost.
Preferably supercharger, but I guess turbos are cool too.

A different car is the best bang for your buck lol, boost is better but these cars are bricks man. Bricks that look sexy as hell.

3500 stall converter would be my vote.

    Budget? Hah! What's that?

I normally pick an upgrade then try and save the money slowly so the Old Lady don't notice. lol.

Maybe headers and exhaust. That can't be too much, right?

Do I need a tune modification with new exhaust?

Same. I've been doing this for 2 years on this car.
    Gotta keep that balance.
When I was just getting on this journey, I started with 410s and a tune. I've done all the mods from that to forced induction. While it's no drag car, it is what I was originally wanting without having a direct goal in the first place . If the gears and tune didn't impress you, then start saving now for a blower. Not very many single mods will give you that "this is enough" feeling like boost. 1200 dollar headers and x pipe seemed like a waste of money until the blower. Then all those supporting mods made sense. A few horsepower here and there until the boost, then they all become worth the investment.
And Marty has been there every step of the way. This Frankenstein wouldn't be a thing without a great tuner. So many times I've had little issues here and there and his patients as solid as his skills.

Now from my point of view I was looking for a fast 4 door family rig. I didn't start with a goal or budget in mind. Just a loose idea. Going back to the beginning I would have started the supercharger route earlier. Then if it was almost enough, added headers and the other mods to squeeze out what I could.
    Good luck on your journey

    Headers and exhaust installed...$2,000.
I'd get it retuned on a Dyno after the exhaust install.

If you really want to do the exhaust I’d say do the SW Longtubes and leave the cat back factory. That will cost you around $1400 for the catted LTs and provide some solid gains and more sound. Bang for the buck? Probably not.

    Maybe a
JLT Cold Air Intake / PHP Intake Spacer /Stewart EMP Water Pump / Steeda Under Drive Pulleys could help free up some HP & SW or KOOKS headers systems too.

Guess I need to figure out how to list my mods at the bottom of my posts.

Previous owner added the metco control arms and also have a k&n cold air intake.

    Thanks!
