I just installed these a few weeks ago. At first they were mushy but stiffened up after taking it in for a brake fluid flush. Did anyone else have to grind down the factory brackets on the corners to let the adapters sit flush? other than that very pleased with the upgrade. Simple fun and Funny to see peoples expressions with the corvette logos lol!

Looks good. Notice any improvement in stopping power?

CNC Machined off the Corvette and etched in the Marauder.

Cost? I'm just going to look on the web for a CNC machine shop and don't want to get hosed. I've NO clue as to what this would be a fair price to do.

    Thanks!

Jerry does it, you buy his calipers and send him yours as a core. You just need to clean them up and strip them down ie: remove the pistons

Question. I'm sure the answer is in the comments but I'm not reading 63 pages. Which way do the brackets offset the calipers. Towards the wheel or towards the frame rail. Or do the the gt500 rotors have shallower hat than the stock marauders rotor

Big Brakes on a not-so-big Budget? YEP

Towards the wheel, the bracket mounts in the same position as the original and the caliper larger in size is offset outward therefore getting closer to the wheel

Okay. On last question mm set what is the distance from the outside edge of the caliper to the outer face of the rotor (rim side) thanks

It’s going to be a long wait for that answer, I’m hours away from the garage. Do you have any of the parts yet? It takes a few minutes to mock it up and check.
