Back in the Game, Thanks Marauderjack!

Good morning all. After some time away I'm back with a new, used Marauder. After a long talk with Jack I felt confident that the miles on the car were a non issue, and I was right. Flew down to SC last Fri. Jack was kind enough to pick me up at the airport and give me lodging for the night. He had purposely parked the Marauder in the driveway so it would be the first thing I saw (sorry Jack, Meredith spilled the beans). You would never be able to tell the car had 270k miles, heck I wouldn't even think 70k. Car has no dents dings or scratches. He replaced any parts that had wear and gave me a trunk-load of more new parts just in case. After shooting the breeze for hours, his Meredith made a great southern meal. A few drinks, then off to bed. Headed out the next morning to visit a friend in NC. 22.4mpg. Then off to Indy. It rained the entire drive there but car handled great. 20mpg avg. due to temp dropping and the mountains. Final day driving unfortunately was in the snow and salt. Made it home safe, went straight to the car wash and parked in its final home, my garage! 19.5mpg.

All around great car and couldn't be happier. I'll be putting my personal touches on it in the next couple months. A big thank you to Jack for a beautiful car, she's in good hands. And another big thanks to Jack and Meredith for their hospitality and good conversation. If anyone hear has met them, they know what a great pair they are and a fine example of a happy couple! Their dog Bear was also a treat to meet!

Glad to be back in the game, let the mods begin!!!!!!!!!

You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard

Congrats! Drove my Marauder today; runs better each time I drive it. Not quite through it's first tank of E0 fuel - I've been blessed, as you have.
