Much of a sound difference with longtubes and the factory catback?

I probably won't go beyond gears, CAI, tune and maybe a TC.

On my '98 GT w/4R70W dynoed stock at 189 RWHP and 211 RWHP after SuperChips 93 octane Chip (not flash) and K&N CAI.

Beforehand, rear gears were bumped up from 3:27 to 3:55, FRP aluminum drive shaft, FRP diff cover, 2,800 stall TC (purple-pink in color, don't recall the name!) and Transgo shift kit were installed. Yawn, but noticeable difference. Transmission skipped shifts. The chip and CAI were the icing on the cake - completely changed the personality and corrected the trans shifting issue. New speedo gear corrected the speedo.

On my current Mustang (bought used with 6k miles in 2011) it still has the stock TC and 3:31 rear end - read where these came standard with the aluminum drive shafts. Considering 3:55 and FRP diff cover. Previous owner installed the CAI (misplaced the stock airbox LOL!) and bought the Superchips tuner with vendor provided tunes for 87 and 93 octane fuels. I reverted to the factory tune, tried the 87 vendor tune and ultimately stayed with the 93 vendor tune. Read where this setup typically makes 280-285 RWHP on the dyno.

Wasn't impressed in the beginning with the performance differences compared to the '98 but as the motor further broke in it really began to noticeably 'wake up' (past 20k miles; 28k miles presently). I miss the '98 as it was my first 'stang and has a special place in my heart. I fell asleep at 0330 in the morning on my way home from work and drove it into a power pole - 101k miles, in top condition. Oh, the grins it put on my face!

Regarding the Marauder; a tune, CAI, gears, diff cover, possible TC will likely make me happy. My philosophy is to do what Ford should have done on the stock release to begin with and retain its original value.

Freeway Bricks... I love these cars out on the open road! In town... As Cheech would say, "Low and slow!"

4:10s

Can someone tell me what their highway speed RPMs are after changing over to the 4:10s. Trying to determine where our stock TC fits into the scheme of things stall wise. Thanks.

Edit: Found some vids on youtube from people who explained their results. Looks like it goes from 2100-2200 to about 2400 at 70 mph - perfectly acceptable.
