    Engine bog doing burnout.

Greetings all, my 04 MM did something tonight it has never done before. When I stood on the brakes and tried to wind her up for a burn out, she just bogged like it was choking out. Standing on it from a stop, no problem, but trying to get into the sweet spot for a launch, nope... Any ideas? I have been remiss on cleaning the intake and the MAF. The throttle position sensor maybe?

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. FWIW, I really haven't been driving her much. This was the 1st time in probably a month. I did put Techron in the tank and tossed some 93 on top of it. ???

You know what? I have had this car for 13 years. I certainly should have known better. NO, I forgot to turn the TC off... Yeppers, I'm a idjit...

Like I eluded to, I have not been driving it much lately, but I certainly should have remembered something that basic. Feel like a newb.

Hahaha yep... As a matter of routine I normally turn the TC off after starting the car. Guess I had a large brain fart last night. Eases my mind that there is nothing amiss with the car.

Thanks Ken. Guess I should drive it more, but the way people drive here... Not being able to readily repair the car scares me off from taking her out more. Its like every bad driver on the eastern seaboard immigrated to Myrtle Beach, SC. I see more dumb ass stunts just driving the 10 miles to my weekly doctor appt than I would see in six months up north. It only gets worse this time of year when the tourists start showing up. Know where you are going and put the friggin phone down!
