    Help me bring her back

Hello guys I'm new to This forum. So I'm not to mechanically inclined. I have a 2003 mm w 90k miles. It's been sitting in my garage for 1.5 years. Last I had it running it was over heating on me. Changed thermostat and it ran good but seemed the system need to be "burped". Then it started making a noise from the highest pulley, changed it out and still same problem. Kinda like a screeching noise. Got frustrated and figured it was a big issue and it's been sitting ever since. Also my AC was acting up as well. Would hve it on Ac and it would throw air at ur feet and on windshield. I got fed up and jus bought something else. But I'm ready to bring my blue mm out. I miss her. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank u in advance

Burping the system is not too hard. Uncap the COT filler, top off, start car, wait for coolant to rise to the top, cap. Refill reservoir. Cool down car and repeat.

The screech is probably just the belt or pulley on alternator. The AC problem sounds like wacky EATC.

Not problems worth letting it sit for 2 years for. Unless you want to sell to me

Forgot to mention that when thermostat stuck it got hot to where it died. I towed to my place then changed it out. Hope no internal damage. I followed those steps to burp the system, it would go back and forth from getting alil hot then returning needle to the middle.

Keep doing it, sometimes it takes a while.
The engine has a failsafe where it starts dumping fuel at high temps to save it from destroying itself.

You will never know until you get to 254 degrees.

Also known as limp home mode. I believe the owners manual covers it
