Intake spacer, rear speakers, and rear grills installed! Pics

I think it looks pretty good. The grills I thought were a little big at first but I think the fit in just fine. If I can find some 03 grills somewhere I'll make em fit. But as for now these work fine. The trick to getting the grills to stay put. Velcro baby... They won't budge at all. Jason is the man! I owe him a car now.

With the infinities all around its eargasms I tell ya. So crisp. I also take a little more time when I install speakers I soilder/shrink wrap everything. I HATE connectors.

    Reguarding the intake spacer...

CAKE walk! Except the hot coolant coming out of the little hose (heh my car pee'd on me) I don't understand why Ford keeps freaking doing that!! My Fox was the same way till I bypassed it.

Couple of tricks for the spacer install....

#1. (Jason said this) loosen the 2 bolts that hold the EGR to the intake but do not remove.
#2. When installing just lightly spin each bolt in one at a time. If you have one that dosn't seem to line up take a phillips screw driver thats just smaller than the bolt and put it down and move it around a little bit to help it get centered.
#3. The rear bolt. Make sure you have an 8mm wrench. Take your time.

Both combined too me about 2 hours to finish.

    PICS!!

What size speakers did you go with, I've heard 6x9's will fit in the rear deck but not the doors? Did you go with the 3 way speakers? I think I'm gonna go with the infinity's also.

6x8's will fit with 0 modifications.

I did components up front and 2 ways in the rear. I love the infinity 2 ways because they have a switch on the tweeter so you can decide if you want the extra highs or not. I have +3 DB in the back and at 0DB in the front.

I've heard a few people like to get a dremel and do a little opening up for 6x9's.

Those look nice but make it to obvious for the Thief. We do not encourage this for that reason.

All MM's have "aluminum colored cylinder heads"! If you mean the cam covers... and no they aren't valve covers, then the '03's came with black painted cam covers and '04 MM's had natural aluminum cam covers.

Why in the world did you put those speaker grills on? It looks horrible, AND it lets thieves know you have changed at least them. If you replaced those.... you probably installed a sub / amp, and perhaps a new radio.

Keep your insurance poilcy paid up, and make sure they are aware of your modifications!
