    Random Rants

    OK....
So I'm watching TV and channel hopping when I stop on the US Open Tennis matches.
I don't watch tennis, nor do I really care about tennis and I was quickly reminded why:

With every hit the players all grunt, howl, and 'Hoo' like a bunch of friggin' idiots.

It is embarassing and very annoying to watch/listen to!
If I closed my eyes I couldn't tell if there was a Sumo match or a Porn video* on the TV.
How long have tennis players been doing this ridiculous crap?

It started big time with Monica Seles back in the 80's.

Since I have never seen a porn video I'll take your word on how they sound Joe Walsh.

I did wonder back in the 80's if Monica had anything left for her boyfriend after a tennis match or was she church mouse quiet.

I guess you will be ranting a lot this Fall what with being a Ravens fan Joe Walsh...

    Ahhh Charlie.
Don't you know that rearview mirrors are for looking at yourself and for making sure that your make-up and mascara are on right...?

I had seen this daily while living in South Florida years ago (and still prevalent to this day I'm sure) & I would label these type of drivers "blue hair Q-tips" for the color & shape of the hair of these type of drivers.

I have a confession to make. When I drive my '97 Express Conversion van I go the speed limit or a bit under because it's so damn slow that I forget to look at the speedometer. When I drive my Marauder I never have to check since I'm always going 10 over!

EDIT: My lord. I just realized that was posted 9 years ago. My bad lol

Are you familiar with martial arts? There is something called a kyup or keyup and I think that's basically the same thing they do in tennis. Its a way of focusing energy.
