Have not contacted him yet. Figure I will wait a bit until I can get somewhat of a count on how many FL Marauders and other cars will be heading up. I will touch bases with him this week.

Come on Florida - Get Registered

There only 7 Marauders registered for this event. Come on Florida Marauders, there are only four Florida Marauders registered. Smokie, Bootlegger, Marauder Concepts (don't know this person) and myself.

We are the largest group in the country. I have talked to several of you who stated you are going. Get registered soon. Even if you only go down the track once, we will all have a blast. I am supplying t-shirts for everyone to show a strong presence "Marauder Race Team." Let's put some Marauders on the participant list. http://www.sshs5.com. Check it out.

Great to hear you are coming John. Most of us will be staying at the host hotel, Hampton Inn. Three Procharger Marauders will be there from Florida. Tim, Lou and myself. Plus Marauders from several States with Triology's, Vortech's as well as Nitrous cars will also be going. Can't wait. We will have a blast as well as make a serious statement . If all goes right we will have a Procharger area with banner at a motorhome as well.

Damn! The Hampton Inn is booked. I had to get a room next door at the Holiday Inn Express. Guess that's ok so when y'all get kicked out you can come next door to my pad! haha!

Unless someone wants to split a room with me... (I snore!)

    See you all in November!

John - Did you mention that you were part of the "Impala Club" group when calling the Hampton? They have a block of rooms held for the race participants and a special group rate. I know in the past that people thought they were booked until they called back and mentioned the Impala Club, only to find that they could book a room there. By now, they may very well be fully booked, but it's worth a try. The Hampton is where all of the post-race action is.

I'm late with hotel reservations also it seems. I called the Hampton Inn and mentioned the Impala Club hold and was told everything was sold out.

The SSHS5 site lists the Ramada Ltd across the interstate as possible overflow accommodations, and TMF found rooms at the Holiday Inn Express across the way also.

Anyone else planning on going that still needs to find accommodations? Should we claim one of the other hotels as Marauder territory? If anyone has a double at the Hampton Inn wanting to split the bill I'm looking for options.

How ever the backup plan on accommodations works out, it looks like I'm in. See you all there!
    Currently Marauderless but looking

Maybe we setup camp next door at Ramada so we can launch childish Trash Talk over the fence at each other!
