But....if the hack job you have now isn't leaking, why change it?
Thank you Zack. Well the hack job just doesn't look like it will hold up. It looks like the brass fitting is barely in that... weld/epoxy something or another mess they have there. I don't trust it. Also I did suspect there to be a small leak somewhere because I could never seem to get all of the air out after 6+ times burping from the COT. The top of the block was wet (but no puddles) when I got the lower intake off. I think it might be the connection behind the water pump though. But anyway, whenever you are ready just let me know payment details. No rush, thanks again.

If its leakign in the valley, the top of your block will not be wet, it will drain out the back of the intake and will run down between the oil pan and the trans bellhousing. If a COT is leaking it will run down the side of the intake along with going into the valley under the intake....
