    need swaybar part #

I purchased Addco Front and rear bars 11 years ago. Now I need new bushings so I called Addco and they asked for part number. I thought there was only 1 that fit our cars. I purchased them from DR. Anyone have the part number of the bars he offered?

Most likely you have solid ones.

Personally I'd go with greasable Energy Suspension bushings.

Greaseable Sway Bar Bushings - Energy Suspensions
    Front – 9.5165 or 9.5172
Rear – 9.5161 - you will need to do some fabing to get these to work.

    Front Swaybar End links:
    Moog - K80140 - greasable

So the Addco parts dept knuckleheads couldn't ask you a couple simple questions and send you the part you need. That's just lazy on their part.

My thought exactly. A binary choice, coulda nailed it down... "Did you pay extra for the larger hollow tube bar, or buy the regular solid one?"

I sent 2 emails and got no response and then I called and a woman answered and she seemed to be more of an admin person than a tech. Now that I have the part number I'll try once again to call them.

Hopefully someone there is bright enough to hit the transfer button if you don't get 'parts' on the first hit. Good luck.

I did mine last year. Addco front bar is 1 1/4 thick" Bushing With bracket Part # 2196 ". Or you can stop by a Advance Auto and get the grease able ones from Energy Supression for a 1 1/4 inch bar" Bushing with bracket part # 9.5165 ".

Should this read bushing w/ bracket for a 2196 bar?
