Chronological order of VINs doesn't always match up with chronological build dates. While we have a long way to go, we were trying to figure out where we fit in the order of production. XX out of X,XXX Didn't hear if someone talked to Steve Babcock about production certificates. Dave?

OK,.. since 2003 Marauder VINs are not sequential. Lets put the last 6 digits of our VIN and build date (if known) so we can kinda figure out 'where' we are in the build order.

Here's mine: 2004 Marauder 677237, built 04/19/05, in service on 06/05/05. Color is DTR. Includes moonroof, CD trunk changer, Light Flynt leather, trunk organizer, and recently installed OEM rear decklid spoiler.

Purchased mine brand new from Longwood (FL) Lincoln/ Mercury on March 30, 2003. Window sticker shows this dealership as the original "Sold To" recipient. As far as I can tell the build date is 08/16/2002. The last six digits are 635116.

Just for the record I really love this car but have cut back on the amount of driving I do in it after racking up close to 30,000 miles from April 2003 until January 2004. Does anyone know what the highest documented mileage is on any of our fellow member's cars?

I ran your VIN and the build date is 10 days later than specified.

I also found a MM for sale in MI with 142k. Did Mongoose trade his in???!

My first Marauder was one of the first delivered in Connecticut in late June early July 2002 #612004. Long gone but I would be interesting to know where she ended up and if anyone on this board now has it.
