Look in your owner's manual packet

If you have the original owner's packet, i.e. the felt covered bifold presentation case, there is a small plastic card with your factory coded keypad number on it. It kind of looks like a supermarket discount swipe card. Good luck!

Take off the driver door panel. The keyless module is in the door with the primary number on it.

I believe a dealership can pull it from the ecu port under the dash if I'm not mistaken not sure if they will charge you though. Once you know it you should program in a number you know. I ended up putting in the one from my older Ford that way I didnt have to learn something new.

The dealer wanted $40 so I took about 30 minutes and took apart the door and found it. It's not too hard really, I just followed most of the instructions on taking the door panel off from the speaker install on this site.

It's also on a sticker on the outboard side of the left trunk hinge and on the body above the left front door hinge.

The factory code is located in three places. 1 the owners manual wallet card, which you don't have, TAPED TO THE COMPUTER MODULE, or at the dealer. After you get the factory code ( which you have to have) you can enter 2 personal codes. If you get the factory codeand want to know how to do this ask anyone who has a L/M manual and they can help you. Good luck.

    Entering a new code

Enter the factory code and immediately press 1. Then enter your desired 5 digit code and the doors wil lock/ unlock to tell you the new code was accepted.

    I just did it yesterday.

Pop the trunk, look at the inside of the passenger side hinge. White sticker with five blue letters...Unless it was lost in the wreck.
