Which state has the best EZ pass system initially (The one with the least amount of hidden fees prior and during), MD, PA, or VA?

All are about the same. Pa turnpike charges only $6. per year, most E-Z pass providers charge $1. per month. Some E-Z pass providers also off peak discounts so if you use it ever day at off peak then look into them.
Just google e-pass
Some providers let you use it for airport parking.

Thanks Jim, I will do that. I think MD charges 1.75 per month, I just heard they can be a pain with all their hidden fees!

I have NY EZ-Pass. No annual or monthly fees. Get a dicount off cash toll in NY... Kinda wierd actually, NY usually charges extra on everything out there.

I have a NY EZPASS and I'm on a commuter plan. They only charge me 26¢ per trip on the Grand Island bridge. It's usually $1.
But see if your area offers any discounts for commuting or what not.

I have NY Thruway E-Z Pass, even though I live in New Jersey. There hasn't been a monthly charge as yet with NY. NJ charges amonthly fees, so I took out a NY account. I'm on my 6th year with New york, and lovin it.

NJ charges because they spent double to collect not e-z pass customers attemped to get away with
I guess people thought they would never get caught?
NJ has their own + Atlantic City Xway + New Jersey Turnpike + Garden State Parkway, so look around the web sites.

EZ pass:
MD - $21 Non-Refundable fee plus $1.50 a month maintenance fee
PA - $35 to start, plus $6 for annual fee.
PA seems to have the better deal.
