    Factory Autometer Gauges ... Help

I bought a set of OEM Autometer Marauder gauges and pod for my 2003 Crown Vic LX Sport. It has the floor shift, console and buckets. My question is:

It looks like it needs some sort of oem connectors to hook them up? It didn't come with any sensors. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They do use OEM connectors as part of the center console harness. In reality, you're better off just getting a real set of Autometer gauges since you already have a volt meter & dummy oil pressure on you cluster. Better to monitor something useful!

True. The only valuable thing you bought was the pod. The gauges (mostly the oil) make much better ornaments for the Christmas tree.

The “real” oil pressure gauge from Autometer comes with a sending unit IIRC that you can switch with the current one and run a new wire. Or change just the end and find the other end of the wire behind the dash and re route it. The volts gauge can be hooked up right off of the cigar lighter, and the lighted wires I would just tap off the shifter bezel light.

What they said^^^. The OEM oil gauge is not usable with a "real" sender, so you might as well buy a new set from AutoMeter. The voltmeter is usable as-is.

I recently changed my oil gauge, I simply swapped out the OEM oil pressure switch on the engine. Screwed in the new sending unit in and used the existing wire (to the back of the instrument cluster) and extended that wire from the cluster down to the gauge pod. Works.
