Thinking everyone is watching this, or should be. First learned about it yesterday on Facebook. Most interesting is the 'Report a Crime' quick link on the same DOJ page. The real crime here is the 'persecution' of Derive.

Odds are they did not have a Lobbyist.

FYI, there are over 300,000 Federal Laws and millions of Federal Regulations that carry the weight of Law.

You will rarely if ever hear me rant about "big government" but here goes:

    1) Has anyone seen coverage about 8 hour DMV lines in California? 3 month waiting lists for appointments? It is unbelievable here. I cannot get an appointment to register my car--and I am not waiting 8 hours (with the great unwashed) for anything, ever.

Oklahoma outsourced its DMV services for auto tag and Lisc. plate renewal. My Dad and I, with no appointment, have gone to the OKLAHOMA DMV twice- without an appointment - and registered his cars in under 10 minutes with no lines, and no appointment. Evidently they know how to register cars better in OKC!

    2) A friend of mine's Marauders both burn cleaner than brand new 4 cylinder LEV (Low Emission Vehicle) HONDAS after having a reputable contributors (Marty's) tunes installed.
A 15 YEAR OLD AMERICAN V8 BURNS CLEANER THAN A NEW LEV HONDA MOTOR HALF ITS SIZE! Think about this. That should be the headline in lessoning pollution.

Instead of creating systems that "retard" spark, and seeking fines from aftermarket manufacturers, the overarching goal should be the actual lessening of active pollution.

They have actual data the it is the few poorly tuned few cars and old trucks that pollute the most (10-2,000 times normal). We should target these cars first... AND If every car were simply retuned, like my friends cars, and each burned more and polluted less, the world would be a cleaner place. Heck, with the new technology we shouLd have competitive TUNE STATIONS, where poorly tuned vehicles can pull up, and for a modest fee get thier polluter care retuned and ref lashed to burn cleaner and pollute less.

Haven't had any coffee yet... And you guessed it... Ran out of gas.

Another EPA witch hunt. They're surely celebrating their latest "victory" on their yachts and wave runners, along with Al "Private Jet" Gore.

From the press release: "For decades, Americans have worked hard to significantly reduce harmful emissions from cars and trucks. Tremendous progress has been made and the air is much cleaner today across the nation."

I guess they forgot these recent changes:

    • September 18, 2018 This week, the Trump administration Environmental Protection Agency announced final new rollbacks to Obama-era climate change policy, reducing requirements on oil and gas companies to monitor and mitigate releases of methane from wells and other operations.
    • Affordable Clean Energy rule—dismantles Obama’s federal rules over all American coal plants and gives regulating authority to each state. Some states, like California, may propose even harsher targets. But others, such as coal-rich states like West Virginia and Pennsylvania, are likely to loosen emissions regulations that coal industry leaders have called burdensome and expensive.
    • The Trump administration proposal, announced by both the Department or Transportation and the Environmental Protection Agency, wouldn't nix the rules entirely but would halt the mileage targets at 34 miles per gallon by 2021. Beyond that number, some automakers complained, the targets would be too difficult to reach, and the added expense to innovate technology and alter production lines would cost jobs and increase prices for car buyers.
    • Science magazine reports that the Trump administration has ended NASA's Carbon Monitoring System, a $10-million-per-year effort to fund pilot programs intended to improve the monitoring of global carbon emissions.

Please define 'they'. My guess is that after everything was weighed and measured, the negatives outweighed the positives. The 'global warming' financial/banking scam is just that and should be blasted to smithereens.

We destroy our economy, jobs, lives with onerous EPA regulations based on flawed science that most countries, notably and most importantly China, don't give a damn about. But that's A OK as long as liberals get that warm and fuzzy feeling of "saving the planet" inside of them. Jeesh.

You know what it is really all about don't you?

It's not that we don't care. It's that we are doing a fantastic job as it is trying to be clean and caring about the planet. There's no need for such drastic over reach of the government at this point. You can burn coal and have it come out of the stack very clean now days with what's already in place. Have you seen India, China and other countries where you have to wear masks and can't see in their cities at times? How much of that plastic floating in the ocean is from other countries and not the US? The facts are out there if you want to look.

When our economy is beaten into the ground by all the restraints our idiotic government puts on it in the name of "Climate Change" (M-O-N-E-Y), sure, we put out less pollution. But as our economy weakens, China and other similar countries economies strengthen. They have little to no environmental concerns, so the NET pollution entering the global environment goes UP. WAY UP. We are literally robbing ourselves blind for a cause no one truly has a clear idea what the FACTS are. It is complete insanity.
