    Need Help

I have an 2003A . Changed chip, put a set of under drive pulleys, changed spark plugs and thermostat, 410 rear end, 59570 miles on it. Original owner, garage kept excellent condition. Could you help me with how much it would be worth?

$8.00. All kidding aside, we have no real idea and no photos to go by. Car might be a gem or a beater. I wouldn't pay more than $10k for it at any rate.

You said it's a 2003-A but no mention of color. I'm assuming black with dark charcoal interior, but it could be DTR or Silver Birch. and Interior color could be light flint or dark charcoal. How about options? Sunroof, the coveted trunk organizer, and OE floor mats?

low miles, original owner, garage kept, and a no-rust Georgia car are highly desirable at least to me.

some mods don't add much to value; replacing a chip is old technology. Most of us run a performance tune from Mo's Speed Shop and that really wakes the car up and helps with firmer transmission shifts and with 4.10 gears. I've heard mixed comments on underdrive pulleys.

The 4.10 gears are a plus in my opinion, but everyone is different, and some just like the 3.55 better for highway cruising.

like the old saying"A picture is worth a thousand words" Post some pics!
and you can get a much better idea of value.

More important, records of proper interval service, paint condition (stored inside), dings- dents- scratches, interior wear or lack of, scratches on wheels.

We've all seen spotless loved 80,000 mile cars and abused unloved 50,000 mile cars.

Which is yours? A super clean 60,000 mile car with spotless paint and interior, good rubber and clean wheels, with service records and a clean story,I'say roughly $12,000.

A rough 60,000 mile car, with paint flaws, a worn dirty interior, scratched wheels, and no service records, roughly $5,500.

PS Idont claim any expertise. You can always go online to KBB.com and honestly answer thier condition questions to see what the bank market thinks these cars are worth. I's add a few $1,000 to thier top condition (showroom) number.

Clean it 100%, shoot high and see what offers you get. What it sells for is what it's worth. Remember one thing - you will probably regret selling it.

+1 Agreed! How do you put a price on all the places you've gone and people you've met all because you happened onto a fairly obscure car and discovered an even more obscure car club to go with it. Buying a Marauder...Still one of the best decisions I've ever made, except for the time I said I do.

I have priced mine very low for 3 reasons: 1) 190K miles 2) the cam chains really should be done soon, and 3) my aircraft mechanic buddy and I were having so much fun working on the car we didn't keep any records to speak of. Oh, also my Significant Other will have me sleeping on the living room couch if I don't make room for her new wheels. Either the MM has to go or the Kenny Brown Panther CV (boosted, heavily modified chassis) gets put out in the rain. Impossible choice, really.
