Are you faster than a Hellcat?

I thought I would start a thread to see how many members are actually faster than a Hellcat. My friend claims his Hellcat charger can beat any Marauder no matter how much rear-wheel horsepower they make. even if they're 700 to the wheels.

There are a few MM's that are in the low 10's here and a few in the 9's. Regular Hellcat if it hooks is in the 10-11 range so he'd be wise to not put all his eggs in one basket.

2-3 shift was garbage in the trans last year. That has since been freshened up. Added more boost and e85 to the car this year. Once dialed in, he wont get me again.

I like hurting the feelings of the $30-50k showroom cars with my $10k 16 yr old car. Especially when they blow me off and don't take me seriously.

I mean really what's the point, he's not going to care what a bunch of crown vic owners think.

Tell him to put up or shut up, bring the car out to something like southern super heavyweights shootout (that event still happen?). Maybe he'll get to line up with some of the big dog marauders and get put in his place.

Didn't the BBC swapped marauder run consistent 8's? If he can run 8's he can claim to be a total marauder beater.

I showed him all this. He seen the YouTube links. He said he now has a totally different outlook about marauders. Lol. He ask why so many sites Trash Talk the car and say its slow. I told him at the time the marauder came out. It was all about getting good fuel mileage and 300 horsepower was considered a lot for cars from the factory. but I told him there was plans for a supercharged version. unfortunately the marauder never received it. so everybody modded the car like they should have came from factory. Marauders are really easy to mod I told him. because it shares similarities with the 03 04 Cobra Mustang, so there's plenty parts available.
