At what power/boost level would you need to use head studs and can you still install/remove the heads in the car with head studs installed in the block?

ive used head studs on all my motors, more for convience, and consistent torque values, yes you can remove your heads from the block in the car
i would guess head studs for our engines are a bit pricey

Head bolts are TTY, non-reuseable. Studs are reuseable. Studs are slightly more expensive than new bolts but they're stronger and permanent.
Heads would be a PITA to get off in the car, you would have to remove the studs from the block with the head in place. But heads are a PITA to get off in the car anyway, I wouldn't do it with or without studs, I would just pull the engine out.
