    The thick cast iron OEM exhaust manifolds will absorb much more noise than thin stainless steel headers.

    This is true, but I was hearing a very defined exhaust leak - that is now goooone!

    ^^^ No, the cooling mod is primarily for the driver's side (cylinders # 7 & 8).

    It's actually for both sides. The #7 & 8 cylinders are the most common to have problems, but the uneven cooling exists on both sides.
