    U1262 - Communication Bus Fault

What are the most likely causes for this error code, please.

I found a good site for general information - https://www.autocodes.com/u1262.html

But I am hoping for member's knowledge to help solve the problem.

What vehicle are you working on?
What is the problem or symptom?
What module is setting the code?

If it's raining a lot, it might be a leaking windshield seal and getting the gem module wet
This happened on my 2000 f250 superduty
New screen and dried it out fixed it

Now you will never find that on some engine code sight. Interesting.

They are all plagued with that issue.

    It’s ridiculous.
