Bushings - 2003 Police Package Lower Control Arm Rear Bushings

Took our 2003 Marauder to the shop and they discovered that our front lower control arm bushings had almost completely fallen apart and were destroying the inner edge on our tires.

The mechanic found that replacement bushings for Marauders with the police intercept package could no longer be purchased individually. Told us that we need to replace both front control arms because they come with the bushings attached. Would love to avoid replacing both arms.

Looking for bushings that fit a 2003 Marauder with police intercept package

Police package makes the bushings interior sizing different than the regular package.

    What's the "Police Intercept Package"?

Replace the entire arm. Will be about the same price as replacing just the bushings.

My bad - it is the rear bushings on the lower control arm at the front of the vehicle.
    Nice catch. I'll change.

Nah, its just a front control arm bushing. Only option is upper/lower

Moog makes a nice replacement bushing. Do you know if you have solid or hollow control arms?

If you have solid CA's replace the bushing. The OEM arm is no longer available.

He is referring to the rearmost bushing assembly that is attached to the frame
Separate from the actual lower control arm

NXSBOB - Are Marauder and CV the same arm?
    2003-2004 - Yes. *After mid-year 2005 they were stamped-steel as opposed to cast-aluminum.

Though the Crown Victoria did also have a "Heavy Duty" version. ?????
