Figured I would drop a line regarding Raybestos R-300 brake rotors. For this application, the part number is 680497PER. I liked 'em because the hats and cooling vanes are coated and will be more rust resistant. Also liked the price ($49/ea) and that they were Raybestos, which I've always had good luck with.

Unfortunately, I'd missed the part where it said they were slotted, and was surprised to see a design like this when I opened the box:

So, just as a heads-up...that's what the R-300s look like.

I ain't sendin' 'em back, they're here, may as well use 'em.

I was actually considering these rotors. I passed on them because I wanted to have matching rotors all the way around and couldn't seem to find any for the rear for some reason. Maybe I didn't look hard enough.

Hey Zack, ever thought about doing a kit for the rear?

680129PER is the RockAuto number. Oddly enough, they're more expensive than the GT500 rotors which are way bigger. I found one on Amazon for $38 with Prime, so I snagged that, and then went on eBay and bought one for $76 shipped.

    At least they'll match.

No because everyone would cry because the parking brake needs to get deleted

I don’t have a working parking brake on any of my cars, including the stickshift.

No one cares about a parking brake until they park on s steep hill and the shift pawl gets stuck or bent....

You need a working parking brake.

You need a working parking brake.
Or if you lose your main brakes.

Could I please have the year for the rotors? I'm in Canada, so the core charge with shipping makes this all a no go. I'll source it out locally.

Thanks, got the brackets so I'm almost ready to go!!
