Yes please do. I’ve had brackets and hoses for like two years collecting dust!

    Great detective work, Serge.
The savings should push a few more people into doing this (worthy) upgrade.

I received my XLR parts from Rock Auto today. Both front calipers were mismatched. lol Left caliper has C5 Vette part number stamped on it. Right caliper has 2008 Mercury Sable of all the cars part number on it.

Granted these will be going back but I found it hilarious that Sable calipers look nearly identical to the Vette ones apart from smaller bolt holes. If I didn't know any better I would even think they were for a Vette.

That’s funny and frustrating all in one.. Was the one box just packaged wrong?

I love getting the wrong parts in the right boxes.
Almost as good as when hardware is missing because someone took it and returned the part.

Please keep us updated, I also have the brackets and lines and would like calipers that don't say Corvette on them.

They are letting me keep the wrong ones so I guess I have a spare C5 caliper.

For what it's worth, when we took the Corvette factory tour during one of the Louisvilles we learned that 'vettes and XLRs were built on the same assembly line. Makes sense they'd have some common parts.

Their customer service sure went down the drain. I remember when I used to be able to call them and speak to an actual person. Now you just fill out a form online and are lucky to even receive an email response.

Funny story...I was placing an order for a pair of shocks for my 2004 GMQ and remembered I needed some fuses. I put 2 each of three different values in the cart and it said they were shipping from 3 different warehouses for $3.99 extra each...so $12 shipping for $6 worth of fuses. I backed those out and went to Wally World.
