    Squeaky

So my brakes are starting to squeak really bad. Can I just replace pads or do I have to replace both. Rotors look fine. Drilled and slotted rotors. Thanks. Any recommendations on pads?

You'd play hell putting a surface on drilled/slotted rotors. from my experience at least hit them with a rotary sanding disc only to knock the shine off.

MunsterBro, if the pads aren't worn enough to require replacement and are just a little squeaky, try this first.

And lubricate the caliper guide pins and the slides.

And don't put it on the brake pad braking surface like the idiot did that brought his car in complaining of taking for ever to get the car stopped...

I have Zack's big brake kit. I switched to Wagner thermoquiet ceramic pads, they stop great and never squeak.
