    Question HELP--Air Bags

About a week ago, I got a 2---1 flashing code on the "Air Bag" light---then it stayed on solid. Happened every time I started for 2 days----3rd day--no light---no lite for 3 days---now, it came back on again yesterday and today First, is this an "Immediate Attention " item, or am I safe to drive for a few more days til I can get the car in ??????? Had the same problem on the '99 GM-but it was in warranty, so I didn't notice what they did. Thanks for any advice, Maury

Check the plug connectors for both driver & passenger seat connectors. If the plug is loose or out the light can come on for that reason.

    ^^^what babbage said^^^

I had an airbag light on Phoebe after I unplugged what I thought was the heated seat controller...turns out it was the passenger seat airbag sensor. Plugged it back in, no more light.

    Thanks

Thanks for all the info--now, if you tell me where the connector is located , I'll check it----also, will the air bag still work in case of an accident???? I want to be prepared before I take it to my dealer--$75/hr to reposition a plug is pretty steep--thanks again , folks, Maury
