    Exclamation Project Bling Phase One

I got my shipment from Steeda today, and EVERYTHING FITS! This is the first phase of an engine dress-up project that will eventually include polished valve covers, polished Ford Racing wire covers, billit aluminum cap covers for Oil, Coolant, Power Steering, and Brake fluid, a billit aluminum fuse box cover, as well as the carbon fiber air intake. And soon you will be able to look down below all this bling and see my new SVO shorty headers. Woaw. Now all I gotta do is keep it as clean as Todd's engine room, and it'll be schaweet!

Check out the gallery for more pictures....

I went to AGE Classic Mustang here in town one Friday here about 2 months ago. Since nobody actually lists anything as fitting the Marauder, the sales guy and I went thru his stock, and I got everything he had that fit. I ended up with a billet oil fill cap, a chrome overflow lid cover, a chrome master cyclinder cap, a chrome cover for the MAF. He said he thought several other Mustang pieces would work, but he was out of stock. Now I've just gotta get time to go back and see if he got the other stuff in!

I thought Summit Racing offered kits with chrome braided hose covers etc? That's the kind of thing I'd like to do when the $$$$$ becomes available....CHROME baby!!! CHROME!!!!!

I've been to steeda, and ofcourse they said they didnt have anything for the Marauder. But I would guess many of the items that would fit the Mach 1 would fit our car.

    Ordered the wire covers today

Also ordered a billit radiator cap cover, a billit fuse box cover, and for billit door lock pins (machined, not polished). And a bottle of Southern Shine Metal Polish

I'm reconsidering the polished valve cover idea. They are expensive ($500 from $ean Hyland), Scott hates putting them on, and I'm thinking the black OEM covers provide a nice contrasting color that brings out the beauty of the polished wire covers and the oil fill cap.

Has anyone tried getting the intake polished?

Oh, and cost of the wire covers shown on the Ford Racing website is $249 for the pair, but I paid $209 for the pair from a FRP dealer in the ATL area. I would think Dennis Reinhart can order these for you, or Kenny Brown, as they are Ford Racing dealers, right?
