Well the end of last season we found that John's IC wasn't up to cooling 20 something pounds of boost. So we picked up a Treadstone 6" thick Intercooler and built some aluminum IC tubes instead of the steel ones.

With the old IC it would pick up 70* iat in a 10.5 second quarter mile pass and it would pull a bunch of timing getting to 180*. With the new IC we are seeing a 30* increase and also seeing 3 more pounds of boost. The new IC weighs about 20lbs more than the old IC, but going to the aluminum tubes we only gained about 7 lbs total. Lost 4lbs per tube. Got the IC tucked up just behind the bumper.

Had to use 2 vortech blow of valves before to keep the boost from backing up when the throttle was cut. Now we went with a single Tial valve in purple of coarse. Not that you can see it.
