    Trilogy vs Eaton swap?

I'm sure this is similar to a Flowmaster vs Magnaflow debate, but is one better over the other? Dependability is more of a concern over performance. I've been looking for a Marauder and depending on price, I'd consider an already blown M.

Then the fun part will be finding one

Good luck finding a Trilogy. Eaton you will have to piece together which is quite annoying as rape prices have started from the cobra guys upgrading their blowers.

I don't know much as far as the swap but I do know of a company who makes an adapter kit for the cobras using the TVS blower.

Now with that said for my knowledge what all goes into the eaton swap onto a marauder?

It sounds like he's trying to find a car that already has a Trilogy or Eaton setup. If so, if it's already installed, they're pretty much the same unless you can find a Twin Screw Trilogy. The TS's, just like any of the Whipples, KB's or Lysholm superchargers, are much more efficient. You can gain more horsepower through less parasitic loss and less compression temperatures. Other than that, once installed, there's not much of a difference besides which side the air intake is on and looks.

That is easy. Flowmasters have a horrible CFM compared to a Magnaflow. hahaha

The inlet on the Trilogy Eatons looks more restrictive. Has anyone hit 500rwhp with one?

I would say look for either blower on a Marauder. They are both dependable. Even better if a supercharged Merc comes up for sale here. You know it's been taken care of.

And they do come up for same more often than I would have ever imagined.

I've had my Eaton swap now for 3 - 3.5 years. Nothing has broke. And I beat the tar out of it.

Just as long as the tune in the supercharged car is spot on. Nothing to worry about.

That is the beauty of the swaps and Trilogy kits. Its almost all OEM parts designed for 300k miles.

    Good to know

I probably don't need the power, but it'd certainly be fun to have.

Just don't ride in a blown Marauder and you have half a shooting chance not to boost yours,...

I've only seen 3 total in my area and pretty sure 2 of them were bone stock. So no worries about that from the looking I've done, I've only found a dozen within 500 miles of me anyway.
