    Mercury Marauder Roundup internet article

While surfing the Web looking for some comparison information about ATI Prochargers vs. others, I found this article. I thought you guys that attended the event would appreciate this positive article.

Prior to discussing the actual race event at Ennis, we must report on the incredible Mercury Marauder Roundup. Holy moly. There were so many black 4-door sedans in attendance (and a few "non-black" ones too), it looked like the US Secret Service was having a convention with the FBI. From everywhere they came, 63 Marauders and over 100 Marauder enthusiasts, including our special guest, Mr. Steve Babcock, the Mercury Marauder Project Manager, from Dearborn. Steve was the invited keynote speaker at the Saturday evening get-together. We saw license plates from Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama, Iowa, Massachusetts, Virginia, Nevada, and of course, Texas. This was the largest gathering of Mercury Marauder enthusiasts ever held. A good time was had by all as fellowship and brand loyalty prevailed, seeing old acquaintances, meeting new people and making new friends.

Rest area, rest home -- what difference does it make? I'm sure Grandma enjoyed seeing all those big trucks pulling in and out.
