    Logo light installed

I know these are intended to be used as you open the doors and shine on the ground. I think that's cool looking, but I am against drilling holes into my door panels. I was intending on making a bracket and bolting it onto the inner bumper support and let it shine forward in front of the car. Just that proved to be impossible because they do not like to be angled very much as the design will distort when doing so.
Final idea which proved to work out fine, NY and most states require a front license plate mount. Well since Im stuck having one, I may as well put it to use.

The light mounts great inside of the plate bracket just I had to turn it with it lit to get the right direction I was looking for then I can tighten it. I measured left to right to get center and then measured front to back to gain center. You will wanna lean towards mounting it towards the back of the mount closer to the bumper then forward because the nut is a little bigger then the light itself and you'll need that extra space to make it fit.

I long-gated the hole a bit so I can slide the wire down and under the plate and under the bumper without drilling holes into the bumper.
As for wiring, I have a LED engine light kit already installed so adapting this light to the kit was simple and took a few minutes, otherwise a toggle switch or wiring it to the hood light for us 300A owners is also easy enough. Those are options that can be used.

NOTE... Those with Mach 1 chin spoilers will have to put something between the light and plate frame to get a little angle to get past the spoiler otherwise it will shine on the spoiler and half the design will hit the ground. I used a piece of cardboard temporarily, but Ill likely be using a piece of padded wood or something equivalent to get the slight angle to get past the chin spoiler.
    In the light,

    At night...

Two thumbs up for this mod!!

Sweet very nice! That looks terrific Paul! My only concern/suggestion is I read in another thread that these lights get pretty hot. Make sure you're not melting your license plate bracket!
