    Hmmmmm.

Details - details - details - hook me up !.

I was content with the underside of the hood on my MM - but I've been wanting to do something w/the bare underside of the trunk.

I've browsed pics on Ebay of 98+ CV's & GM's to see if any ever came with anything on the underside of the trunk lid - but it doesn't appear that they did from what I've seen.

My Town Car has SPOILED me.

You can crank up the JBL in there - get out - close the door(all windows closed) & barely hear the music - even standing alongside the trunk. This is not the case with the MM. I was thinking the underside trunk lid carpeting in the TC might help contribute to keeping the sound more muffled outside the car.

Least the MM is now worth CRANKING up the tunes - unlike the day you bring one home.

I went with (4) new Infinity 6802's & yanked the infamous foam out of the sub. Got the same type of speaker in the back of my Toronado(6x9 tho) as well. Gotta love those pivoting tweeters . I'd like to go back in there one day tho - & use some XTC speaker baffles - that might help keep more sound IN the car - rather than out as well.

    Eric
