    She Made 250K In FINE STYLE......

    My car hit 249,999 miles on the Broad River Bridge this morning so I turned into the frontage road and she hit 250,000 down at the Broad River Boat Landing......WooooooHoooooo!!

    The last photo was back at home......15 miles toward 300K!!

    Chris,

    I gave a run down in the other thread......"24 More......"

    Rebuilt the transmission at 159K miles and put new bearings and seals in the rear end at 177K miles......still the original motor and it runs great with no oil consumption....weird??!!

    Still on original rear gears and LSD clutches & spring....still doing the...
    like always!!

    Silver Birch here..The most miles I had on a car was 160,000 and I didn't put them on it..just 30-40k an old 84 Impala 9C1 I used for commuting to work..about 3 miles..lol kept it 5 years and hardly put a dime into and sold it for more than I paid.

    Thanks everyone....whoda thunk I'd still be driving the car after almost TEN years let alone 250,000 miles??

    I still get excited every time I start it up and roll out of my yard......just a DAMN GREAT car...that's all!!
